Consent

By using my website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in my Privacy Policy. This includes, but is not limited to, how do I collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information. If you do not agree with any part of my Privacy Policy, please refrain from using my website.

What do I collect?

To help me understand your project needs and provide you with the best possible assistance, my contact form requests some basic information from you. This includes your name, email address, and other relevant details pertaining to your project.

Also, because of the analytics software and monitoring user behaviour software I may also collect certain information automatically as you navigate and interact with my website. This is done through the use of analytics and user behavior monitoring software, which helps me understand how visitors use the site and improve its overall functionality and user experience. This collected data may include, but is not limited to:

  • Technical information: such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, and referring website.

  • Usage information: such as pages visited, time spent on each page, links clicked, and other actions taken on the site. However, I do not have access to view any specific data you enter into form fields, such as phone numbers or other numerical information.

This information is primarily used in aggregate form to identify trends and patterns, and not to personally identify individual users. However, it may be linked to your personal information if you voluntarily provide it through the project planner form or other means.

Monitoring software

Hotjar - I might use third-party services, including Hotjar, to monitor and analyse user behavior on my website. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ needs and optimize our service and experience.

Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices.

This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), preferred language, and mouse movements.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 uses cookies and other technologies to collect data about website traffic and user interactions. This data is used to create reports about website activity and user engagement. I use this information to improve my website and marketing efforts. For more information on Google Analytics 4, please refer to Google’s privacy policy

Data protection

I take your privacy seriously. Your information is securely stored on protected servers and accessible only by authorised personnel. I use SSL encryption (read more about what is SSL here explained by Cloudflare) to safeguard your data during transmission.

To minimise data retention, all information submitted through our online form is automatically deleted every week.

Changes to this privacy policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in my practices, technologies, or legal obligations. I strongly encourage you to review this page regularly to stay informed about how I handle your information.

Any modifications to this policy will be effective immediately upon posting the revised version on my website. For significant changes, I may also notify you through other channels, such as email or WhatsApp.

  2. scripting: Enables local keyword analysis functionality

Since no data is collected, stored, or transmitted, there are no data security risks. All processing occurs locally on your device during your browsing session only.

This extension is designed with privacy-first principles and complies with GDPR, CCPA, and Chrome Web Store policies.

Search Simulator Input Logging

When you use MY on-site SERP Simulator, we record the search phrases you enter—only those consisting of 2-4 words—together with:

  • Date & time (e.g. “12 June 2025 at 14:23:45”)
  • Location (Country / City derived from your IP address)

These entries are appended to a daily log file in our secure server directory. Files are rotated at midnight UTC and purged after 7 days.

Why I Collect This

I use this information only to:

  • AnalySe common keyword patterns and improve the simulator experience
  • Monitor usage trends and ensure fair use of our free service

I do not share individual entries with third parties or use them for profiling beyond aggregate analytics.

How DO I Store It

Your search inputs and location data are stored in plain-text log files, accessible only by site administrators. We use exclusive file locks during writes to prevent data corruption.
