Summary
The main goal was to redesign and develop a more modern, user-friendly website that includes online payment options and a package calculator, tailored for the convenience of the Polish audience seeking courier services in Ireland.
Thunder Transport not only features a dedicated calculator but also incorporates a loyalty-based points system. It was a complex project, but one I am very proud to have completed.

The website theme is inspired by the company’s colors, creating a friendly yet professional atmosphere. Its clean and straightforward layout highlights essential information upfront, minimizing confusion. Tables are well-organized, easy to scan, and user-friendly—consistent with the navigation across all pages. The calculator operates on a complex mathematical formula and leverages AJAX processing to deliver results based on variables and custom prices per kilogram.
The website also supports payments via PayPal and Visa/MasterCard without requiring an order. Additionally, it features a customized address book for guests and a tailored client panel.
The design retains elements of the company’s original branding but adopts a more modern and flexible approach.

The website loading speed scores between 78-80 points out of 100 on mobile and between 97-98 on desktop, as judged by Google.
The website fully loads within 2.8-3 seconds and uses an intelligent asset caching system, which serves assets more quickly, ensuring an optimal user experience.

The website is fully optimised for Google organic search results, effectively attracting significant traffic through Polish keywords and targeting the Polish community living in Ireland. Notably, there is a significant increase in rankings during the winter and mid-spring seasons.
The website is also accessible to users seeking furniture moving services, parcel delivery, or those wanting to check transport pricing using the built-in calculator.
