AriaTherapy Case Study

Summary
AriaTherapy.com is a holistic therapy center owned by Emer O’Grady based in Dublin offering tailored counselling and psychotherapy sessions for people in need using effective, evidence-based methods.
Creating a safe, professional environment
The old website had numerous problems including poor accessibility, weak SEO, and very basic thin content that prevented Emer (the owner of AriaTherapy.com) from ranking well in Google.
Each service page immediately addresses visitors’ queries and concerns by clearly presenting symptoms, treatments, and the therapeutic process—the three vital elements that people are looking for when seeking help. When I designed the website, I wanted every visitor to feel comfortable and safe from the moment they arrived. I used a carefully chosen, compelling color palette of greens and blues, and decided to stick with the purple-fuchsia accent color taken from the current logo to maintain brand consistency.
The website features wide, impactful hero images, modern typography, and strong accessibility standards, which have already improved the quality and quantity of inquiries Emer receives.

Quick and straight to the point
The old version was loading quite slowly—not terrible, but there were clear flaws preventing DOM elements from loading efficiently. When I created this website, I managed to keep the loading time relatively fast, significantly improving the user browsing experience.
Now, the website itself loads within 1.5 – 2.5 seconds, providing an excellent score in performance reports and ensuring visitors don’t bounce due to slow loading times.

Recovering lost positions
I successfully managed to recover the lost rankings that occurred mainly because the owner had previously hired the wrong person to manage her website. The owner complained that she had significantly lost her Google rankings and online visibility. Now, after my services, she has experienced improved website traffic and receives more concise, qualified inquiries from potential clients.
The psychotherapy niche is a quite competitive market in Dublin, and I managed to bring her website to the TOP 5 on the first page, and even TOP 3 for several competitive keywords. For instance, if you type “holistic therapy Dublin” you will find Emer’s website on the first page in Google. For more competitive keywords where you have large companies and psychotherapy practices ranking—such as “anxiety therapy Dublin”—AriaTherapy.com successfully managed to reach the second page of Google, which still brings substantial clicks and traffic.
This positioning is particularly valuable because this niche is highly dependent on research—people don’t often choose the first result they see; they want to browse multiple options and dig deep into search results to find the right therapist for their needs. Being visible across multiple relevant searches ensures AriaTherapy.com reaches its ideal clients.
